| Current Position:

|
|
John Chandler (1975) manages and operates all of the processing equipment in the fruit and vegetable laboratory pilot plant. He is also instrumental in aiding graduate students and other staff members meet the challenges of research projects and grants alike. His expertise in the processing of different foods is utilized in the laboratory aspect of the Food Processing Classes offered in the Spring and the Fall semesters.

John's wife Agness has also worked for Virginia Tech for twenty years; currently she is an Executive Secretary for the Internal Audit department. John and Agness love to travel when money and time permits. Their favorite destinations include the Pacific Northwest, the Canadian Rockies, Nova Scotia Canada, Vancouver and Niagara Falls. Hawaii and Alaska are in the future. When not traveling or working in the FST processing lab John loves to hunt deer in November.
