The Food Science and Technology Department has been a major contributor both nationally and internationally in ensuring a safe, nutritious and abundant food supply through our teaching, research and extension programs. Unfortunately reductions in public college support and rising costs have made it more challenging for us to maintain our competitiveness with other institutions and improve our highly regarded programs and initiatives.

This is where you can help by making a private gift that can enhance student learning experiences and explore new opportunities for our faculty, staff and students. Your contribution will support many areas including  hands-on learning opportunities for students, student scholarships, facility improvements, new programs and the recruitment of top researchers and educators.

Making a gift is easy to do using the university’s online gift process. Just click the "Give to FST" button at the top of this page, and then select your desired gift frequency and amount, and enter your payment information.
